After receiving 125 applicants from 35 countries, looking to become part of the first generation of MECATE, we began this program based, not in the use of specific methodologies, but on the talent of entrepreneurs and deeptransdisciplinary collaboration.

Artists, designers, entrepreneurs, political scientists, activists, environmentalists, architects, engineers, among many other entrepreneur with different backgrounds formed a group of 30 “mecateros” which, supported by a team of 10 developers, generated 12 proposals aimed to face various public challenges.
