Project Description

ASELA, is the Latin America Entrepreneur Association, project that gathers, supports and represents all the entrepreneurs in the region, with and special focus in the Pacific Alliance countries (Mexico, Colombia, Perú and Chile). The model is based on the chilean association, which has over 23.000 members and four years of work. ASELA supervises the consolidation of each association, based in a model with specific budgets, schedules and goals. The project already has seen some successes, such as the approval of the “Empresas en un día” law in Chile and Mexico, which simplifies the process of creating a company, and the creation of the “Academia Etapa Cero” in Peru. The initiative has the support of IADB-FOMIN, and has about 35.000 members as a global association.
